Purpose of this Site:
This site is dedicated to passing a law in New Jersey that emancipates all Children at the age of 18 years old. This is necessary because the NJ Judiciary, in the absence of written law, has created their own laws from the bench that violate people’s civil rights.
This means ALL child support STOPS when your kid reaches 18 years old. Plus NO judge can order you to pay for their college!
They have trodden the Constitutions of both the US and NJ by ignoring separation and segregation of governmental powers as we all learned in 7th grade civics class. By their action, the NJ Judiciary has violated the civil and parental rights of hundreds of thousands of NJ and non-NJ citizens of our country. In response to being slapped around by the Judiciary, the NJ Legislature had cobbled together laws that dance around the entire issue of emancipation, allowing the Judiciary to usurp their constitutional responsibility to legislate the law.
In May 2010, the new Governor of NJ, Chris Christie, recognized that the NJ Judiciary was out of control and that they have far overstepped their legal, constitutional bounds. Through his affirmative action he removed one of the Supreme Court Justices, all within his authority.
There are two ways to stop this errant, illegal activity by NJ judges:
- Compel NJ Legislators to pass a law emancipating all children at the age of 18.
- File and trial in US Federal District Court 9 in Arizona to compel the NJ Supreme Court to overturn past rulings and disengage lower courts from involvement in cases when adult-children reach the age of majority (18). The NJ Legislature may pass a law before this case goes to trial which may convince us to withdraw the complaint.
This site was created by one man who decided to fight for his rights. You can read his story from the sidebar. But one man cannot do this alone and we need the help of NJ residents.
Your assistance is needed in executing the HOW’s. Please step up and play a part in your civic responsibility to fix a broken NJ government. Write your legislators and ask for an emancipation law to be passed. And please subscribe to the newsletter (in the sidebar) for ongoing updates of the situation and so that we can alert you when action is needed.
We can only do this by gaining support from NJ residents to force this law. Please help us get the word out by sending this website to your fellow divorced parents, liking us on Facebook, sending a tweet. We need the help of many voices to make this change in NJ.
It doesn’t matter if your kid is 8 or 18. If you don’t act, your constitutional rights will eventually be violated by the NJ Courts.
Take a stand and do it now.
